I’m deeply passionate about children’s and educational media—on this page, you can find a podcast pilot I made for Spotify’s SoundUP kids and family accelerator. I took on multiple roles for this pilot—I prepped, conducted, and pulled selects from the interview, gathered ambi, scripted, edited, mixed, sound designed, and mastered this pilot. All music was arranged and composed by me except for the piano riff that serves as the opening and closing theme.

I’ve also created educational videos for the NYCDOE’S division of Family and Community Engagement (FACELAB), working closely with educators and community members to make an electrical engineering curriculum work during remote learning. I’ve collaborated closely with arts nonprofits to create interactive popup events that allow young people to be true collaborators in the creation of media.

When I work on a project, I like it sounding crisp, professional, and clean. I know how to take noisy audio from an event, an interview, a demonstration, and clean it up to be ready to use in a project or for promotional materials. I also set up remote interviews to have the best possible sound, even when the interviewee only has access to a cellphone as a recording device.
